Hocking Hills is filled with so many amazing hiking trails, rock repelling cliffs, caverns, caves, and all around amazing sight seeing of natural geological formations. We have spent many years canoeing and exploring the area, but never forgo the local food scene. Here are some of our favorite spots for sightseeing and grabbing a bite!

A family favorite! But… our families tend to be on the “daring” side. Perfect for rock climbing or rappelling, the cliffs in the preserve are some of the highest of the area. You can also enjoy hiking from down below and take your lunch to eat on the trail.

This place has some seriously good barbecue! It’s a local favorite, so always a hoppin’ place. They occasionally host live music as well. Be sure to try the carolina pork roll for an appetizer, the texas beef brisket, the chicken & waffles or the bourbon street salad for dinner! They also offer a variety of local and craft beers.

| Pizza Crossing - Logan, OH |

This place BLEW US AWAY! Our neighbors insisted that we try the pizza, and wow, they weren’t wrong. Not only was the pizza soooo good, but the service was impeccable. They were so pleasant over the phone, and then when I (Emily) went to pick up the pizza, they saw I had one of my littles with me and without missing a beat, sent an employee to help me out to the car. Pizza is life, so we had to let you know- this is the place to go. And we’ve tried a lot of pizza in the area!
